The TPI 9080 retains all the features of the TPI 9071, plus includes a range of additional features and benefits.
Vibration analysis at the touch of a button
Easy to use with built-in ISO and BDU red, amber and green traffic light alarms. The TPI 9080 makes it simple to spot unbalance, misalignment and looseness in belts, pumps, motors, fans and much more. This unit also calculates vibration signals automatically based on the machine’s running speed.
The units also feature an 800 line spectrum with zoom in order to pinpoint complex issues.
Bearing in mind
Recognising issues early on can help prevent costly breakdowns and failures that may occur if issues are not identified and rectified. The wearing and replacement of bearings is inevitable, however, knowing the correct time to replace them can be difficult. The 7080 specially displays bearing condition (BDU) as well as general vibration, allowing the user to make an informed decision.
The BDU alarm values can be adjusted manually if required. As a default, they are set to:
- GREEN – Below 50
- AMBER – Between 50 – 100 (warn bearing)
- RED – Above 100 (bad bearing)
