Megger MFT1711 Multifunction Tester
Built for electricians testing low-voltage electrical installations to BS 7671, the Megger MFT1711 Multifunction Tester supports certification work on domestic, commercial and industrial fixed wiring. It combines TRMS voltage and frequency measurement with 250 V, 500 V and 1000 V insulation testing, 200 mA continuity, loop impedance and prospective fault-current measurement, plus RCD testing. A large backlit display uses a digital/analogue arc and dual digital readout to show measurements with their relevant test parameters.
Two and three-wire non-trip loop modes support work on RCD-protected circuits, while the 2Hi range provides high-current phase-to-earth and phase-to-neutral measurements. Auto RCD testing runs its test sequence at 0° and 180°, with additional support for Type AC, A, S and programmable RCDs, 10 mA testing and ramp tests.
