By carrying out an earth loop test, not only does the EZ165 indicate the presence of an earth, but also the condition of the earth wiring. Every time the EZ165 is plugged in, it will perform a self-test to ensure correct operation.
Feedback is provided by bright green and red LED’s, providing clear indication. A chart is also included which lists all the possible fault conditions. A quick guide is also included on the front of the tester itself.
The EZ165 is ergonomically designed to aid easy removal and is lightweight at only 93 grams. It also conforms to BS EN 61010-1, CAT II 300V, Class II, double insulation and BS EN 61326-1.
