The DCM305E is intended to replace the existing DCM300E offering superior features and functions. Offering TRMS AC current measurements with six ranges. A user selectable low pass filter is featured to ensure accurate readings. A compare option and multiple data hold options complete the features.

Extensively used to measure leakage current that may flow during the maintenance, monitoring or checking of electrical systems and equipment.

Features

The DCM305E has a 4000 count backlit digital display with true-RMS readings on all six AC ranges; the ranges being 6 mA, 60 mA, 600 mA, 6 A, 60 A and 100 A.
The meter has a resolution of 0.001 mA (6mA range)
The selectable 50/60Hz low pass filter offers accurate measurements in circuits with relatively high harmonics.
A compare option offers preset values of 0.25 mA, 0.5 mA and 3.5 mA with a visual / audible indication when the measured leakage current exceeds these values.

Due to the design of the 40 mm jaw the DCM305E allows current measurements on un-insulated conductors and busbars though personal protection against shock should still be maintained.
