Proving Units

Within the safe isolation process, proving units work to ensure voltage testers, multimeters and other test instruments are functioning correctly by checking the accuracy of such testers against a ‘known’ voltage source. The proving unit acts as this known source.

Proving units should be used both before and after test instrument use, as the proving unit is then more likely to detect potential damage incurred through transportation or via the testing process itself. Our units enable engineers to safely verify the functionality of their instrument before live testing has even taken place.

The range of proving units stocked by Test4Less is curated to suit both low and high-voltage testers, and many offer additional features including slimline and lightweight design, long battery life and easy-to-read, LED indication. Shop our extensive range today!
