Multifunction Testers & Instrument Kits

Multifunction testers are used by electricians and electrical engineers to check wiring polarity, measure loop & line impedance, carry out phase sequence and rotation checks, complete RCD tests, and test insulation resistance, amongst other testing procedures.

Multifunction testers allow electricians to perform multiple tests without constantly switching testers. This saves time and energy and allows electricians to remain compliant with 18th Edition rules and regulations.

To ensure you select the correct multifunction tester for your purpose, we recommend comparing the product specifications between listings, as not all testers carry out all functions. Many of our products are listed with accompanying datasheets and specification tables for reference. Multifunction testers can also be further broken down into those with internal memory (downloadable) and those without (non-downloadable). Downloadable testers are available at a higher price point due to the ability to store test data and connect to PC software. Non-downloadable testers offer a more cost-effective solution where test results need to be logged manually.
